Ski area Ski Juwel

Due to the interconnection of the ski areas Wildschönau and Alpachtal, accessible with the gondola, the lift pass "Ski Juwel" offers 113 km of piste incl. ski routes. With this lift pass you have access to the ski areas Markbachjoch/Lanerköpfl, Oberau, Thierbach, Schatzberg, as well as Kramsach, Reither Kogel and Wiedersberger Horn. This sums up to a total of 45 lift systems located between 690 and 2,025 m altitude! Various levels of difficulties ensure that beginners as well as pros can really enjoy themselves here.

Children can go to Bobo's Kid's Club. For families and relaxed skiers the Schatzberg is especially attractive or also the Reither Kogel, whilst ambitious skiers can swing down the northern mountain side of the Markbachjoch and Lanerköpfl, as well as speed through various deep powder snow areas and free rider areas with 16 km of marked ski routes.

For the 10th anniversary of Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, the new Hornbahn 2000 will start in winter 22/23, taking you to the highest point of the ski area in under 4 minutes. The new mountain station of the Hornbahn 2000 is also a real highlight: The 360° viewpoint "Top of Alpbachtal" offers unique panoramas of the Tyrolean mountains.

The various slopes can be reached comfortably with the free ski bus. In Alpbach, however, there are also three gondola lifts available to take you to the ski area. For snowboarders, the snow park on the Wiedersberger Horn, the fun park on the Schatzberg and the race and training centre in Niederau offer plenty of fun and action.

In addition, around 25 "hotzones" are available for you to dial into the Wi-Fi network free of charge. So you can easily send all the latest pictures and lovely greetings from the snow to your friends back home!

By upgrading to the "SuperSkiCard" lift pass, you get access to 2,750 km of piste and 926 lifts in 21 ski regions!

What winter sports enthusiast doesn't dream of being the very first to make their turns in the freshly prepared snow? The "First Line Skiing" at the Wiedersberger Horn in the Ski Juwel offers all early risers this special experience from March until the end of the season. Followed by a hearty breakfast in one of the rustic mountain huts and the perfect start to the day is guaranteed.

Night skiing Alpbach

The ski area Ski Juwel is one of the best night ski areas in Austria. At Reither Kogel nearby Alpbach, approx. 6 km of pistes on three slopes are illuminated for night skiing every Friday and Saturday between 18:30 and 21:15. The lifts Reitherkogelbahn, Nordlift and Brandachlift are in operation for night skiing. On Tuesdays, the family slope is also illuminated from 18:30 - 21:15 for ski tours. Here, the lifts are not operating.

Additionally, in the Wildschönau area, you can also go night skiing and night tobogganing in the Roggenboden ski area. Two broad pistes for night skiing and night tobogganing with snowmaking systems are illuminated every Wednesday and Thursday from 19:30 to 21:00. The night ski passes can each be acquired in resort.

Après ski Alpbach

Après ski in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau begins with a comfortable retreat into the rustic mountain huts. Here, you can start by taking it easy with a hearty meal. After that, the proper fun with friends starts, such as in the "Liftstüberl," the "Juppi Stadl" at the Brandachlift, in the "Postalm" and in the "Jakober".

If that's too much for you, there are numerous restaurants in which you can be spoiled, as well as torch-lit hikes and night tobogganing to take part in. In Alpbachtal there are a total of eight toboggan runs - two of them in Alpbach and Inneralpbach. Ice skaters can do their laps on the ice rink in the village. Furthermore, snowshoe hikes, guided winter hikes and horse-drawn sleigh rides are all on offer.

If you are also looking for the very special adrenalin kick on your holiday, then a spectacular tandem flight at an altitude of 1,000 m with a fantastic view over the Wildschönau is for you. Dates can be arranged daily.

The Alpbachtaler Lauser-Sauser is another highlight waiting for you. 1,035 m in lenght, 134 meters of altitude difference and countless jumps and roundabouts make the fast ride with the Alpine Coaster massive fun for big and small passengers. But beware, don't forget to smile - the photo point is waiting...

Snowpark: Snowpark Alpbachtal Alpbach

At the Wiedersberger Horn in Alpbach (freestyle) wishes come true! And not only for absolute professionals. The concept of the snowpark is also designed for families and beginners who have always wanted to try out what it is like to reach completely new heights and push themselves to their own limits. The "Snowpark Alpbachtal" invites first and foremost to have carefree fun in a family atmosphere and attracts the brave inexperienced with mini hills and jumps. In the "Family Park" there are 6 m Speed Booster, 6 m Rainbow Butter Box, 6 m Wave Butter Box and a 2 m Kicker available and are a perfect challenge for those who dare to enter a snowpark for the first time. But also the experts get their money's worth: For advanced riders there is the "Jip - and Kicker Area" with two 4 m kickers, 5 m roller, 6 m kicker, 10 m kicker as well as 4 m flat box, 5 m flat butter box, 5 m mail box, 5 m jib tank, 6 m rainbow box, 6 m wave jump box, 6 m straight industry, 8 m flat down rail and 8 m flat down box.

In total, the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau even has two parks. In addition, there is the race and training centre in Niederau on the Tennladen slope with a permanent giant slalom and speed course and a carving area. There is also a new fun slope on the Wiedersbergerhorn, which promises fun for young and old with waves, rails and numerous fun elements!
