Location
The quietly situated 4-star superior Hotel Zum Stern is located approx. 1.8 km away from the resort centre of Bad Hofgastein. The lift can be reached after approx. 1.1 km and a ski bus stop is located right in front of the hotel. Access to a cross-country trail is approx. 2 km away. The nearest toboggan run is around 6 kilometres away.Facilities
The hotel's general facilities include a reception, lift, Wi-Fi, lounge, internet corner, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, children's playroom, library, wine cellar and ski cellar. Parking spaces or parking spaces in the car park can be used for an extra charge (subject to availability).The approx. 800 m² spa and sauna area "Sternenreich" offers you an indoor pool with jacuzzi, a Finnish sauna, bio sauna with fresh mountain herbs, herbal steam bath, infrared cabin, tepidarium, brine grotto, ice grotto, relaxation room and fresh air oasis with Kneipp foot whirlpool and drinking water fountain as well as tea and juice bar (open hours as per notice board on site). In addition, you can use the fitness room. Massages are also available for a fee.
You will receive the Gastein Card in resort, with which you can use many offers in the Gasteinertal valley free of charge or at a reduced rate, e.g. visits to thermal baths, spa and sports offers, use of public transport and much more. Board
The included half-board PLUS includes a welcome drink, breakfast buffet with organic corner, fresh egg dishes, cakes in the afternoon (15:00 - 17:00) (coffee for a fee) and a 4-course menu of your choice in the evening. A 6-course gala dinner is served once a week. Important notes
- Children aged 5 or under can use the lifts in Gasteinertal for free. Should your child use the lifts in other Ski amadé areas independently, a Minicard (lift pass) has to be acquired in resort.
- Should you have booked your equipment through us, the ski hire shop is located in Bad Gastein (approx. 9 km).

Reductions

Generally speaking, babies younger than 24 months of age upon arrival can travel for free, but they must be listed on the booking. Please note that fees for the stay may be charged locally (see Local Costs/Services).
