Location and facilities
The modern Mountain-Boutique Hotel Der Grüner Baum is located centrally in Ehrwald, and the ski bus stops opposite the hotel. A practise lift can be reached within approx. 600 m, the Wettersteinbahn lift is approx. 500 m away and the Almbahn lift in Ehrwald can be reached in approx. 2.2 km. A winter hiking trail as well as access to the cross-country ski area are approx. 150 m away.The comfortable hotel's facilities include a reception with welcome area, Wi-Fi, lift, terrace, bar, common room, breakfast room, restaurant as well as a ski room with ski boot dryer. Free-of-charge parking spaces can be used based on availability.
The approx. 350 m² spa area (14:30 - 19:30) offers a Finnish sauna, organic sauna, aromatic steam bath, spa showers, Kneipp facility, refreshment area with tea, water and vitamin bar as well as a relaxation room with water beds and crackling fireplace and can be used for free. For a locally payable fee, you can also make use of massages.
Additionally, you will receive the "Zugspitz Arena Bayern-Tirol" guest card with services and discounts, such as e.g. discount on the entrace fee to the family indoor pool Ehrwald, free use of public transportation, free guided torch hikes, use of the cross-country trails and the Bichlbach ice skating rink, as well as discounts with various facilities (e.g. Burgenwelt Ehrenberg), etc. (further information in resort, services subject to change).

The half board included in the holiday price comprises a breakfast buffet as well as a 4-course evening meal including soup and salad buffet. The Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners are also included for you.Please note that the kitchen is closed on Thursdays, which means that there will be no dinner served on this day within the conditions of the half board.
