Ski area Salzburger Sportwelt
In the Sportwelt alone there are 250 kilometres of pistes and 97 lifts. The extensive Kleinarl/Flachauwinkl/Zauchensee and Flachau/Wagrain/St. Johann ski areas are the top destinations in the association and are known for events such as the Alpine Ski World Cup in Flachau. The "Ski amadé" finally unites the regions of Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming-Dachstein, Hochkönig, Gastein and Großarl into one mega ski region across numerous peaks.
The house ski area on the Buchberg (1,200 m) is located directly on the outskirts of the village and is an ideal family ski mountain with its manageable 5 kilometres of pistes. Three T-bar lifts and a baby lift are available for easy access to the slopes. The gentle, predominantly blue pistes are ideal for skiing beginners and pleasure skiers.
In addition, around 400 Wi-Fi hotspots are available throughout the ski area, in huts and at the lift stations. So you can easily send all the latest pictures and lovely greetings from the snow to your friends back home.
Après ski Goldegg im Pongau
In the evening, you can choose between a torchlight hike or a walk around the lake, before returning to the warm rooms of the inns to indulge your taste buds with regional dishes.
Snowpark: Absolut Snowpark Goldegg im Pongau
In the Salzburg Sport World, a very special freestyle highlight awaits you on the shuttle mountain near Flachauwinkl. The "Absolut Park" offers all adrenaline seekers, whether beginners or pros, top opportunities to really let off steam. It all starts with the 5-person kicker line, which starts at the exit of the park's own 6-person "Absolut Shuttle". The line underlines its class with the "Spring Battle", Austria's best-known 'on mountain' snowboard contest, which takes place here. Right next to the kicker line, it's off to the rail line. Here riders can prove their skills on the kinked rail, rainbow rail, hand rail, various boxes, downrails and a double kinked rail. Last but not least, the Easy Jibpark, designed in skatepark style, calls for creativity and spontaneity.
If you think that this extensive obstacle offer was already the end, you are wrong. Because the "Absolut Park" is not only waiting for you with an additional 100 m long halfpipe with 4 m high walls, but also with a superpipe. The 160 m long monster is located directly above the "Family Shuttle" valley station and meets the X-Games and Olympic standard. There is also a "Chill House" in the park. This is where even the last freestyle dreams come true, because there is much more here than fat sound, video walls and enough space to relax. The two-storey house also has a mini skate ramp and a massive bouldering rock.
You'll also find another treat on the shuttle mountain: Burton and the Absolut Park Team didn't miss the chance to put "The Stash" in the landscape in Flachauwinkl, too. The concept is a very special one, because in harmony with nature, creativity is to be demonstrated here on partly hidden obstacles. The fun and easy-to-take obstacles can be ridden in a variety of ways. In addition, there is the "Lil' Stash" at the exit of the "Powder Shuttle", which is especially suitable for the little ones among the creative ones.
