Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Vitalhotel Tauernhof is located centrally at the edges of Großarl, directly next to the lift (approx. 50 m). A descent on skis to the accommodation is possible in good snow conditions. The next cross-country track can be reached in 700 m distance.The cosy accommodation's facilities include a reception with welcome area, lift, Internet corner and Wi-Fi, parlour, dining room, restaurant, bar with fireplace, children's playroom and conservatory.
The hotel offers a 1,500 m² large spa area, which can be used for free and has two indoor pools (daily 7:00 - 22:00, opening times subject to change) with wave-making machine, an outdoor pool, herbal and saline steam rooms as well as a sauna area (daily 14:00 - 22:00, opening times subject to change) with Finnish sauna, alp sauna outdoors, organic sauna, jacuzzi, sanarium, infrared cabin, relaxation room with grotto and water beds, tepidarium and bubble-jet recliners.
The solarium as well as various massages and treatments in the beauty centre can be enjoyed for a fee. Children can enjoy a special children's sauna afternoon 1 x per week. The spa area also offers a juice bar.
For your entertainment, there is table tennis, table football, a games computer and toboggan hire available free of charge. Horse-drawn sleigh rides can be enjoyed for a fee. Free parking spaces and an underground garage can be used based upon availability.

The holiday price includes half board PLUS, which consists of a breakfast buffet, an afternoon snack with pastries or piquant snacks incl. coffee and tea (15:00 - 16:30) as well as a 4-course dinner to choose from with starter and salad buffets as well as cheese-gourmet and dessert buffets. Vegetarian meals and children's menus can be prepared if desired.The Christmas dinner and New Year's Eve dinner with live music and midnight buffet are also included in the holiday price. On the day of your arrival you will be greeted with a welcome drink.

Important notes
- Use of the indoor pool is only allowed for children when accompanied by an adult. Use of the sauna area is only permitted from the age of 14 (exception: "children's sauna afternoon").
- No ski pass voucher is issued for children born in 2014 or later. A minicard (ski pass) must be purchased on site for children (born 2014 and younger) to use the lifts (max. 30 € per child). Further information can be obtained from the lift ticket office.
