Ski area Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

The included "Ski Alpin Card" gives skiers and snowboarders access to around 408 fabulous kilometres of pistes. True to the motto "1 ticket, 3 regions, endless mountains", the Ski Alpin Card not only includes the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski circus. It also includes the ski area on the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the glacier ski area on the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. And if this lift network is not big enough for you, we recommend upgrading to the "Super Ski Card" (see ski region). This opens up unlimited skiing pleasure in 21 ski regions in Tyrol and Salzburg on an incredible 2,750 kilometres of slopes!

In Hinterglemm the gates to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn are directly open. In addition to mogul pistes, steep slopes and carving runs, there is also a race course with time measurement and two floodlit pistes. In addition, several snow cannons ensure snow reliability. The best conditions for all skiers to feel at home in the Skicircus, regardless of whether they are at beginner, expert or professional level.

For example, if you want to discover sporty downhill runs around Hinterglemm and gain a lot of altitude at the same time, we recommend the Hinterglemm loop, which is about 26 km long. It takes you around the village on both sides of the Glemmtal valley. Elsewhere, families with children also get their money's worth. Leo's Kinderland", for example, is located directly at the valley station of the Asitz cable car. The practice area with magic carpet, children's carousel, snow igloo and a knight's castle is ideal for children who want to make their first turns in the snow. Meanwhile, professionals can show what they've got on the "Schattberg Nord" and "Zwölferkogel Nord" slopes in perfect freeride conditions.

This diversity is once again proof of why Hinterglemm is not one of the most popular ski resorts in the Alps for nothing, which is constantly evolving despite its status. Since December 2019, the Schmittenhöhe has been connected to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. The brand new zellamseeXpress now runs from Viehhofen in the Glemmtal valley. Six cabins have a jukebox to which you can connect your music. A ski bus also runs between Viehhofen and Vorderglemm.

Night skiing Hinterglemm

If the day on the slopes wasn't enough for you, you should definitely whip up some more snow when it gets dark! In Hinterglemm, for example, the Unterschwarzach lift was waiting to take winter sports enthusiasts directly to the start of the 1.1 km long night piste. In Leogang, a platter lift also takes you up the mountain in the evening - or more precisely to the start of a 500 m long floodlit piste. And those who prefer to sail acrobatically through the evening alpine air should not miss the Nightpark! Night skiing is free for anyone with a valid lift pass.

Après ski Hinterglemm

An après-ski offer that has been awarded by experts does not exist everywhere - but in Hinterglemm it does. If you're looking for parties after a long day on the mountain, this is as good a place as any to put your skis on the slopes!

Even during the day, at least one of the around 40 rustic huts invites you to a toast. Huts like the "Bar Pfiff", "Bauer's Schi-Alm", the "Hexenhäusl", the "Tanzhimmel" and the "Goaßstall" are a must! Various clubs and bars like the "Checker Club - Post Bar" are a perfect starting point for a sociable evening. And no matter what music is playing - everyone can party here!

There are also numerous cafés, bars and restaurants for the leisurely and relaxed among the winter sports enthusiasts. The local food there is highly recommended. Carriage rides through the snow should also be a highlight on every to-do list.

And for those who don't want to have boards under their feet for a day, there are many other sports options: Tobogganing, snow tubing, ice skating or tennis - no one will miss out. Another highlight in Saalbach-Hinterglemm is the snow quad driving at the Unterschwarzbahn in an off-road park.

Snowpark: Family Park Hinterglemm

The "Family Park" snow park in Hinterglemm is located at the Unterschwarzachbahn cable car and has quite rightly adopted the motto "Freestyle Unlimited!", as there are no limits here, whether it's day or night! In this special snow park with night-time operation, everyone, from beginners to cracks, will find the right obstacle.

The different Easy, Medium and Pro courses allow freestylers to learn new tricks without feeling overwhelmed. The park has various obstacles such as a spine, a gap kicker, a wallride and various rails. The slopes above Saalbach also offer plenty of variety, but the local Family Park often exceeds the expectations of freestylers.

There is also a smaller snow park called "Learn-to-Ride Park" on the Bernkogel in Saalbach. With its three mini-kickers and beginner boxes, it offers a good introduction, especially for beginners.

The "Nitro Snowpark Leogang" is also a very popular park that has a lot to offer freestylers! Located on the Asitz in Leogang, the snowpark is equipped with big airs, corners, boxes and various rails. In addition to the snow parks, there are two further freestyle areas: a ski and boardercross course and a funcross course. This is a mixture of normal piste and snow park, which can be found at the Hochalm chairlift and therefore also in Hinterglemm. Longitudinal and transverse waves, steep turns, small kickers, quarter pipes and other fun elements ensure plenty of fun here. The Skicircus ultimately also turns out to be a freestyle circus.
