The former 110 km of pistes have shrunken due to the new measurements of the area, but the pistes themselves have, of course, stayed the same. Numerous diverse pistes for beginners and ambitious skiers invite to enjoy seemingly limitless and snow sure skiing pleasure. As of 2019, the newly-opened, 6-person "Glocknerblick" chair lift not only improves comfort and transportation in the ski area, you can also easily reach the mountain station in one ride.

The gondola Goldried brings you from Matrei directly into the ski area. The family-friendly ski area is a real insider tip. Directly at the mountain station there is a children's ski park with a heated hut. With magic carpet-lifts, time measurement-pistes and fairytale characters, fun is guaranteed for all children who want to learn to ski.

Snowboarders can run riot in the fun park with slides and jumps! Those who have enough endurance, should definitely try the 7 km long valley run "Cimaross-Tal" to Matrei, which covers 1,450 metres of altitude. Pros will find challenging black pistes and deep powder-runs at Cimaross towards Matrei, as well as from the Blauspitze to Kals.
