Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star hotel Das Alpenhaus Kaprun is located in the centre of Kaprun and approx. 200 m from the Maiskogel ski area. A ski bus stop is about 50 metres away. You can access the cross-country ski trail after approx. 350 m. The glacier ski area on the Kitzsteinhorn is around 7 km away.The facilities of the personally managed hotel with a sporty, casual atmosphere include a reception, lobby, WiFi, lift, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, lounge, library and a ski and boot room. There is also a charging station for electric cars, parking spaces and a car park (for a fee) at the hotel.
In the spacious, free spa area "Alpen.Veda.Spa" (approx. 1,000 m²) you will find a heated indoor pool, a jacuzzi as well as a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, salt sauna, salt steam bath, Kneipp pool, four relaxation rooms (some with water beds) and a textile sauna area (opening times according to the notice board on site). Tea and apples are also available daily in the spa area. The fitness room with modern cardio equipment is also free of charge. Beauty and massage treatments are available for a fee.
In resort, you will also receive an additional 5% discount per person/booking at the "Deins & Meins" restaurant in Zell am See (when presenting the voucher that is sent along with your travel documents).
Board
The half board PLUS included in the price comprises a breakfast buffet in the morning and an afternoon snack (15:00 - 16:00) with a daily changing meal. In the evening, a buffet with a main course (choice of fish, meat, vegetarian or vegan (on request)) from the Alpenhaus kitchen awaits you. Gluten- and lactose-free dishes can also be served on request. Important notes
- Access to the spa area is only permitted to children under the age of 16 when accompanied by a parent.
- If you have booked a lift pass, it is already valid starting at 15:00 on the day before the first day of validity.
- For each adult Ski Alpin Card lift pass purchased, one accompanying child born in 2009 or later will receive a free ticket for the use of the lifts (ID required). This offer is only valid with the purchase of a lift pass good for 4 or more days in the period from 12/04/25 - 21/04/25.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
