Location and facilities
The 4-Star Superior Tauern SPA Kaprun is located in a quiet and sunny area and offers a breathtaking view on the scenery of the Kitzsteinhorn. The resort centre and the entrance into the ski area can be found after a distance of 1 km, a ski bus stops approx. 200 m away. The Areitbahn lift in the ski area Schmitten - Zell am See can be reached after around 5 km. Access to a cross-country is to be found in direct vicinity.The accommodation offers a reception and Internet corner (incl.), lift, a hotel bar with a big lounge and an open fire, wine collection, game and multimedia room, youth room, various restaurants as well as a ski room with ski boot drier for your equipment. The terrace is open for you during winter.
The hotel-own spa area is available to you daily from 08:00 - 20:00 free of charge and offers you a sauna area with an indoor panorama pool, 2 panorama saunas, aroma steam room as well as an outdoor pool, a fireplace lounge, relaxation and adventure zone, and a sauna bistro. Tea and juices are available free of charge in the relaxation area.
You can also use the public spa area, daily from 07:00 - 23:00 (Fridays until 24:00), that has a water surface of approx. 2,100 m² with an in and outdoor area, free of charge. The indoor area offers an active-, relaxation pool and high pool, and the outdoor area has a saline relaxation-, active and sports basin.
Further, there is an indoor sauna area with a total of 13 saunas and steam rooms (e.g. aroma steam room with closing restriction, Finnish sauna, organic sauna)and relaxation warm water basin, various adventure showers, ice fountain and quiet zones. The outdoor sauna area has 2 block saunas, outdoor terrace with with a dip tank, Kneipp bath and a warm water basin.
Aqua gymnastics is there for you to enjoy and the restaurant invites you over for a bite to eat. There is also a fitness zone with panorama view, equipped with High Tech cardio and weight machines. The solarium and infrared cabin as well as beauty treatments and massages or the daily regeneration programme can all be used for a fee.
The little guests can enjoy the "Kidsstein" Spa Kinderland with its indoor and outdoor pools, 2 slides and a kids' basin.
For children between the age of 3 and 15, childcare is offered (see local information). Free parking spaces and a locally payable parking garage can be used (based upon availability).

The modern and traditionally furnished rooms have a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (incl.), safe (incl.), mini bar (incl.), hair drier, make-up mirror and a balcony.Board
The in the travel costs included half board comprises a welcome drink, a rich breakfast buffet with cold and warm dishes and a varying 5-course menu to choose from or themed buffets with e.g. traditional, international and Austrian cuisine with front-cooking area.. Vegetarian and health-conscious dishes are possible as well.Drinks in the spa area, i.e. tea and juices, are inclusive. You can also help yourself to the daily fresh fruit and the mini bar with juices and water is also free of charge. For children there is a special kids menu on offer (a charge may be applicable).

Important notes
- Children born in 2011 and younger, receive a free lift pass when an accompanying adult purchases a full valid ski pass at the same time: per accompanying adult, one child receives a free lift pass.

Reductions
Depending on the room type, age of the traveller, arrival date and lift pass, you could receive various reductions to the holiday price.

Generally speaking, babies younger than 24 months of age upon arrival can travel for free, but they must be listed on the booking. Please note that fees for the stay may be charged locally (see Local Costs/Services).
