Ski vacations Klösterle - skiing pleasure on 100 percent natural snow!
Klösterle
In the shadow of Burtschakopf and Ameisenspitze lies the charming village of Klösterle. At an altitude of 1,075 m, the village forms the tourist centre of the idyllic Klostertal valley together with Wald am Arlberg and Dalaas. The mighty Arlberg Pass separates the small community of 660 souls from the hustle and bustle of neighbouring St. Anton or Lech, and not only spatially. Situated on the south side of the valley, Klösterle offers the perfect location for soaking up the sun or strolling along winter hiking trails in a relaxed atmosphere. And skiers don't miss out here either, as the Sonnenkopf mountain railway awaits just a few kilometres down the valley. From there, the gondola takes you directly up to the adventure and family mountain. A skiing area that, thanks to its optimal geographical location, can rely on 100 percent natural snow on the slopes until well into spring.Klostertal
Klostertal lies in the heart of the federal state Voralberg. The name Klostertal finds its roots from the 13. Century when the Knights of St. John monkhood founded the "Klösterlein“ in order to offer a roof over the head of merchants and waggoners. This hospitality mirrors itself today in numerous cosy villages, guest houses and parlours that also offer a welcoming scenery. Through the by-pass outside of Arlberg-Trubels in a deeply indented valley, peace and tranquillity can be found. Embedded in the magnificent high mountain panorama of Arlberg-Schickeria are the excellent hotels that are important in Klostertal tradition.Travel Klösterle
