Location
The cosy and family-friendly 3-star Berghotel Gailberghöhe with its beautiful view of the Gailberg is only about 7 km away from the centre of Kötschach-Mauthen. The Nassfeld ski area is about 30 km away and the Kötschach ski area is approx. 6.5 km away. A bus stop can be found directly in front of the accommodation. The access point to the cross-country trail is also about 6.5 km away.Facilities
The hotel's general facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi in the public areas, lift, lounge, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, children's playroom, wine cellar, bowling alley (for a fee) as well as a ski cellar for your equipment. Free parking spaces and garage parking spaces can be found in resort and used upon availability.The 200 m² sauna area offers everything a sauna heart desires with a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, infrared cabin, Kneipp basin, relaxation room with fireplace, spa showers and open-air room (opening hours as per description in resort). Massages can be booked in resort for a fee.
For your entertainment, the hotel offers various activities. A snowshoe hike takes place once a week, the hotel's own toboggan run with toboggan rental is available to you free of charge, as are the hotel's own snowshoes and walking trails (depending on the weather).
Board
The half board included in the holiday price comprises an extensive, regional breakfast as well as a 3-course menu with choice of main course and salad buffet in the evening. A special Christmas menu in the form of a 4-course menu with choice of the main course and salad buffet as well as a cosy get-together afterwards with Christmas punch and homemade cookies takes place on 24/12. A New Year's Eve buffet from the Alpen-Adria kitchen with music and fireworks directly in front of the hotel awaits you on New Year's Eve. Vegetarian meals are also offered. Gluten-free and lactose-free meals can be served on request.Pets

Important notes
- No lift pass voucher is issued for children up to and including 5 years of age. Children in this age group ski free of charge when accompanied by their parents. For children skiing alone (e.g. in a ski course), a lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
