Ski area Ski Juwel

Due to the interconnection of the ski areas Wildschönau and Alpachtal, accessible with the new gondola, the lift pass "Ski Juwel" offers 113 km of piste, incl ski routes. With this lift pass you have access to the ski areas Markbachjoch/Lanerköpfl, Oberau, Thierbach, Schatzberg, as well as Kramsach, Reither Kogel and Wiedersberger Horn. This sums up to a total of 45 lifts, located between 690 and 2,025 m altitude! Various levels of difficulties ensure that beginner, as well as advanced skiers can really enjoy themselves here.

Children can go to Bobo's Kid's Club. For families and relaxed skiers the Schatzberg is especially attractive or also the Reither Kogel, whilst ambitious skiers can swing down the northern mountain side of the Markbachjoch and Lanerköpfl, as well as speed through various deep powder snow areas and free rider areas with 16 km of marked ski routes.

The various slopes in Niederau can also be reached comfortably with the free ski bus. For snowboarders, the snow park on the Wiedersberger Horn, the fun park on the Schatzberg and the race and training centre in Niederau offer lots of fun and action.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, the new Hornbahn 2000 will start taking you to the highest point of the ski area in under 4 minutes as of winter 22/23. The new mountain station of the Hornbahn 2000 is also a true highlight: The 360° viewpoint "Top of Alpbachtal" offers unique panoramas of the Tyrolean mountains.

A special highlight in this ski area are the 25 free Wi-Fi hotspots ("hotzones") it offers for all its visitors! Only a few easy steps are required to access the Internet and you can instantly supply your friends and family with your holiday news and photos.

By upgrading your lift pass to the SuperSkiCard, you can choose from 2,750 km of pistes and 926 lifts in 21 ski regions!

Which winter sports fan doesn't dream about being the first to hit the piste and enjoy the freshly prepared snow? The "First Line Skiing" at the Wiedersberger Horn in the Ski Juwel allows early birds to do just that from March until the end of the season. Afterwards, enjoy a hearty breakfast in one of the rustic huts and successfully start your day off right.

Night skiing Kramsach

The ski area Ski Juwel is known to be one of the best night ski areas in Austria. If you want to go skiing at night time, you can do so at Reither Kogel in Reith nearby Kramsach. The lifts Reitherkogelbahn, Nordlift and Brandachlifts are open for night skiing every Friday and Saturday. The three pistes have a total length of approx. 6 km and are illuminated from 18:30 - 21:15. On Tuesdays at the same time, the family piste is illuminated for ski touring. At that time, the lifts are not operating. In Wildschönaus, in the Roggenboden ski area, night skiing is possible every Wednesday and Thursday. Here, two broad pistes are illumated for night tobogganing and night skiing from 19:30 - 21:00. The lift passes for night skiing can be acquired in resort.

Après ski Kramsach

Après ski in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau begins with the comfortable retreat into the rustic mountain huts. Here you can start by taking it easy with a hearty meal.

After that, the proper fun starts, you can celebrate in good company, for example at the Liftstüberl, at the Juppi Stadl at the Brandachlift, at the Postalm and at the Jakober. If that's too much for you, there are numerous restaurants in which you can be spoiled, as well as torch-lit hikes and night tobogganing to take part in.

Snowshoe hikes, guided winter hikes, horse-drawn sleigh rides and Bavarian curling are also offered. The Alpbach indoor pool with water slide, jacuzzi, solarium and sauna area offers pure relaxation.

If you are looking for a very special adrenaline kick during your holiday, we recommend a spectacular tandem flight at an altitude of 1,000 m with a fantastic view over the Wildschönau. Appointments are possible daily by arrangement.

Another highlight awaits you with the Alpbachtaler Lauser-Sauser. 1,035 m of track, 134 metres of altitude difference and countless jumps and gyros make the fast-paced ride on the Alpine Coaster huge fun for passengers big and small. But watch out, don't forget to smile - the photo point is sure to come...

Snowpark: Snowpark Alpbachtal Kramsach

At the Wiedersberg Horn in Alpbach (freestyle) wishes come true - and not only for pros! The snow park was designed for families and beginners who have always wanted to reach new limits and see the world from above. The "Sugarparks Snowpark" invites you to have untroubled fun in a family atmosphere and attracts with its mini hills and jumps for courageous beginners. In the "Family Park", 6 m Speed Booster, 6 m Rainbow Butter Box , 6 m Wave Butter Box and a 2 m kicker are available and represent a perfect challenge for those who are venturing into a snow park for the first time. But also the advanced riders will get their money's worth: For advanced riders there is the "Jip - and Kicker Area" with two 4 m kickers, 5 m rollers, 6 m kickers, 10 m kickers as well as 4 m Flat Box, 5 m Flat Butter Box, 5 m Mail Box, 5 m Jib Tank, 6 m Rainbow Box, 6 m Wave Jump Box, 6 m Straight Industry, 8 m Flat Down Rail and 8 m Flat Down Box.

In total, the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau even has two parks. In addition, there is the Race and training centre in Niederau on the Tennladenhang with a permanent giant slalom and speed course and a carving area. On the Wiedersbergerhorn there is also a new fun slope that promises fun for all ages with waves, rails and numerous fun elements!
