Ski vacations Längenfeld - cosiness in the Ötztal!
Längenfeld
Längenfeld, with it's districts Gries and Huben, is located at 1,180 m altitude, centrally in the Ötztal and at the mouth of the Fischbach stream. Due to it's special location, surrounded by a steeply inclining mountain backdrop, Längenfeld is ideal for nearly every winter sport. Especially cross-country enthusiasts will feel welcome here - 50 km of trails in classic or skating style are only waiting to be explored. If you rather enjoy some fun on steeper pistes, then the ski area of Sölden, one of the most popular in entire Europe, is located only approx. 13 km away.Finding action away from the pistes is no problem at all in Längenfeld. The town is especially well-known for its "Aqua Dome" thermal baths with extensive indoor and outdoor pool complex. Although it has become a tourist attraction and also with its proximity to the world-cup resort Sölden, Längenfeld has maintained it's country charm and the many farms of the region are predominant for the local character.
Ötztal
Few alpine valleys have as much to offer a guest as the Ötztal in Tyrol: kilometres of piste en masse and for all abilities, very modern lift systems, extensive cross-country tracks and around 250 mountains looming at 3000 m throughout the Ötztal Alps - skiers' pulses will certainly race! Additionally, there is an abundance of cleared winter hiking trails, rustic huts and in the evenings - depending on taste - an upbeat mood in the numerous discos and bars, a fun sledding party or night skiing. Quaint winter villages, the most prominent winter sports resorts, and not least the Aqua Dome in Längenfeld, which promises rest and relaxation - no wish is left unfulfilled!Travel Längenfeld
