Lech
Surrounded by the impressive mountain massif of the Lechtal Alps, the historically developed Walser mountain village Lech is a home to approx. 1,500 people. The resort district Oberlech (1,750 m) is completely car free in winter (December - April), and can only be reached by skis or mountain railway. Arlberg
The Arlberg is a home to internationally well-known winter sports resorts and top-modern, perfectly equipped ski areas. The ski area (1,270 - 2,811 m) with its 341 km of piste and 88 lifts belongs to the most modern areas worldwide. Approximately 100 years ago, the first ski lessons ever took place here. The Arlberg is an El Dorado for everybody without excpetions - beginners, professionaly and freeriders alike. Apart from perfectly prepared pistes, the area is known for its fantastic deep powder snow areas.
