Location
The comfortable 4-star Genießerhotel Rauter, the hotel for epicures, is located in the centre of Matrei. The ski bus stop is right next to the hotel and the Goldriedbahn cable car (Großglockner Resort Kals-Matrei ski area) is approx. 1.5 km away. A cross-country ski trail is around 800 metres away and a toboggan run is around 1.5 km away.Facilities
The stylishly furnished hotel has a reception, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, wine cellar, bar, lounge, terrace and a ski cellar. There are free parking/garage parking spaces subject to availability, a charging station for electric cars can also be used (for a fee).For relaxation, you can use the 500 m² spa area with indoor and outdoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, relaxation room and infrared cabin. The fitness room can also be used free of charge. Massages and a solarium can be used for a fee.
The holiday price includes a guest card with various price advantages and free use of public transport in East Tyrol (services subject to change, see information on site).
Board
The half-board included in the price includes a rich East Tyrolean breakfast buffet with regional and seasonal foods, including a muesli corner, egg dishes and a juice bar. In the evening there are varied gourmet menus with 5 courses to choose from. Dietary, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free dishes are available on request, as are vegetarian alternatives. The New Year's Eve gala dinner is included in the holiday price.The hotel's restaurant has been awarded 3 toques (15 points) by Gault-Millau. The chef spoils guests with the finest gourmet cuisine and traditional home cooking at a high level.
