Ski area Damüls-Mellau

With the "3 Täler Pass", you have access to more than 327 km of pistes in 32 ski areas in Bregenzerwald, in the Great Walsertal, in the Tyrolean Lechtal, Rhine Valley, Laternsertal and Klostertal (see ski region)!

In the alpine part of Bregenzerwald lies the Damüls-Mellau area, which is separated by the Mittagsspitze (2,095 m). On one side is the former world cup town of Mellau, on the other the tranquil Walser village of Damüls. The ski areas are connected by lifts. On about 88 kilometres of pistes (incl. ski routes) - connected by 19 lifts - you will experience a skiing area for connoisseurs, which also offers sporting challenges (e.g. at the Hasenbühel chairlift).

The childproof eight-seater chairlift and the Sunnegg lift are equipped with cover hoods and heated seats. In addition, the Mellau lift takes you to the ski area in glass-enclosed 10-seater gondolas over a distance of approx. 2 km.

It gets really crisp on the northern slopes of the Sunnegg lift and on the Suttis steep slope - prove what you're made of and then enjoy the wide pistes or dare to take the 8 km longest run into the valley of Mellau.

Snowboarders have an immense choice of wide slopes and freeriders will find many ideal terrain sections with undamaged, potential powder snow slopes. The Burton Snowpark is a large "playground" for the freestyle group.

Après ski Mellau

For party fans, Mellau offers nice bars and a ski lodge where you can enjoy typical music. Those looking for a more relaxing evening can let themselves be spoilt in rustic inns and cosy restaurants with regional (cheese) dishes. If you'd rather have a sporty evening, head to the Dosegg natural toboggan run and afterwards hit the "Rodelhüsle"!Numerous sporty alternatives are available during the day as well: airboard riding, ski fox or snow-blading for action fans and winter hiking trails or romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides for a more leisurely day.

Snowpark: Burton Snowpark Damüls Mellau

Damüls, which in conjunction with the Mellau ski area is considered the largest area in the Bregenzerwald, advertises with the slogan "the village with the most snow in the world". So what comes to mind when you love freestyling and equally love to glide through deep snow? That's right, this area is not to be missed! Safe powder snow slopes and off-piste runs will make the heart of every deep snow fan beat faster and especially attracts members of the boarding scene from the surrounding villages to the area. However, those who love both depth and height will feel especially comfortable in the "Burton Snowpark Damüls" and can improve their skills there. The freestyle paradise, which is constantly supervised and maintained by an experienced crew, impresses with a variety of obstacles as well as its sunny location and proximity to the Walisgaden lift. Rails, boxes, kickers, picnic tables and a quarter-pipe are all waiting for you here. At the same time, the chill-out area also features hip music and a relaxed atmosphere. The "Small Park" at the Uga mountain station also complements the "Main Park". Here, you can let off steam on a 3-man kicker line, a 3-man jib tube line, banks and waves. The two parks are connected, of course, and thus form the new "All Mountain Line" from the Uga top station down to the Walisgaden valley station. Are you still able to resist?
