Location and facilities
The welcoming 3-star Aktiv Hotel Elan is located about 1 km away from the resort centre of Oberau. A ski bus stop can be reached after approx. 100 m, and from here, the bus comfortably takes you to the approx. 2.5 km distant Schatzberg lift. The Markjoch lift is about 5 km away.The inviting accommodation offers a welcome area with reception, Internet corner and Wi-Fi, lift, safe, restaurant, dining room, bar and parlour, children's playroom, terrace and ski room with boot dryer. Free parking spaces can also be used (subject to availability).
The spa area, with indoor pool (8:00 - 22:00), sauna and infrared cabin (16:00 - 22:00), can be used for free (with prior notification). For a fee, you may also use the solarium.
You also have the option to participate in the activity programme for non-skiers (as per info in resort, sometimes for a fee) and once a week, an informational evening with the ski school and ski hire shop takes place (depending on the day of arrival).
The holiday price also includes the "Wildschönau Card", which grants you access to many attractive reductions in the Wildschönau and surrounding areas, such as free use of the Nightliner buses, winter and snowshoe hikes (3 times a week), the mining museum "z'Bach" and many others (changes to services, prices, and operation times may apply, see info at hotel.
Rooms
The cosy rooms are furnished with a bathtub or shower, separate WC, cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, radio, hair dryer, seating area and balcony.Board
The already included half board consists of a rich breakfast buffet with fruit, warm dishes and cold dishes as well as a 4-course evening meal of your choice (choice of main dish) with salad bar. A vegetarian alternaitve as well as special dietary cuisine are also available on request. A children's menu for the little ones is also available, and once per week, a "Schweinshaxen" night (pork knuckle night) is organised. The Christmas (24/12) and New Year's Eve dinners are also included.Pets
