Cross-country Schruns

The cross-country skiing trails in Schruns (700 m) are surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Montafon. In the valley you will find approx. 13 km of easy cross-country trails, five kilometres of which are skating trails. If you want to go a little higher, you will find the varied Matschwitz high-altitude cross-country ski trail. It is approx. 3 km long and up to 1,520 m above sea level and can be found in the neighbouring ski area of Golm, where you will have a fantastic nature experience in the idyllic winter landscape of the Rätikon. Freshly groomed every day, it passes traditional Maisäß huts and spoils you with a magnificent panoramic view. The snow-sure cross-country trail on the frozen Silvretta reservoir at an altitude of 2,000 m is also highly recommended. It can be reached from Partenen, 20 km from Schruns. The Bieler Höhe is Vorarlberg's highest cross-country skiing area and enchants with unique views in an untouched mountain world.
