Snowpark: Snowpark Betterpark Alpendorf St. Johann im Pongau

In midst of the huge ski area union "Ski amadé", besides the many slopes and pistes, there is another attraction which deserves your full attention: freestyle! In the ski area Sankt Johann-Alpendorf, the park designer Wille Kaufmann has created a real fun-park-paradise with the "Bretterpark Alpendorf". With a total length of about 1km this area alongside the Panorama lift invites all freestylers to try some jumps and test themselves on boxes and rails.

The jib area, as well as the kicker line are divided into easy, medium and pro lines and the diversity of obstacles hardly leaves any wishes unfulfilled. A professional shaper team has dedicated themselves to ensuring ideal conditions in this park and maintains the obstacles to their best ability. On Wednesdays there is always a lot going on in the park with regards to maintaining and re-shaping. Therefore the park closes down at 14:00 already.

Further to the snow park, you can also find a fun slope in the ski area Zauchensee, that offers the whole family lots of fun, with its different waves, steep curves, small jumps and other attractions.

For all those who prefer to watch, or just enjoy the sun in front of a magnificent backdrop, there are deckchairs available, which designate the more sociable part of the park.
