Ski area Lachtal and Kreischberg

The "Grebenzen" ski region comprises total of 12,2 km of piste, with altitudes ranging from 1,010 m up to 1,870 m, and is especially recommended for families and leisure skiers. Enjoy the wide, romantic pistes, often encircled by forests and catch a glimpse of the surrounding mountains as well as the St. Lambrecht Benedictine monastery. Let yourself be enchanted by the quiet, beautiful landscapes. Children will feel right at home here thanks to the two free practice lifts as well as the snowman village with children's carousel, magic carpet and childcare.

Should you find that you'd like to ski on even more pistes, you can purchase a lift pass upgrade in resort for the repeat award-winning Krieschberg ski area (for a fee). With a speed and permanent race circuit, the ski area stands out for those who are looking for a challenge. Diverse facilities for children, such as the "Yabba-Dabba-Doo-Land" or the "Dino-Park", can be discovered, making this area ideal for families. A further highlight is the "Airypark" at the Kreischberg. Freestylers have long since claimed this area and its location, along with a world champion slope with integrated half pipe, speaks for itself. During the 2014/15 winter season, the best of the best spent their time here for the FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships.

Après ski St. Lambrecht

Those who do not want to lie down just yet after their day on skis has various opportunities to spend their evenings. "Small but fine" is the best motto for selected locations if you want to end your day in a great atmosphere, offering cool drinks and tasty snacks, such as e.g. "Gruber Alm" or "Grebenzenhaus". Good wines can be had in the wine shop "Stifterl".

Nevertheless, the direct proximity of the Grebenzen natural reserve should draw you outside. Enjoy the unique natural backdrop on a horseback ride through the deep powder snow, on a winter or snow shoe hike or on a dreamy walk. The Benedictine Monasty offers winter guides.

How about a bit more spectacular activieies? The 4 km toboggan run is the perfect alternative for you. It starts at Grebenzenhaus and, on a wavy and partly steep slope, goes down to the Pabstin valley station. If you prefer relaxation, a trip to nearby Dürnstein with its thermal bath Wildbad is recommended.

Snowpark: Snowpark Airypark St. Lambrecht

Are high jumps and cool moves your strong points? Then visit the "Airypark" in the Kreischberg ski area, where you'll have the chance to show us what you've got! The park is especially well known among freestylers. A just about 800 m long obstacle course, composed of the most diverse obstacles, awaits you. With rails, jumps, boxes and kickers, this snow park is the ideal location to really let off steam.
