At an altitude of 633 m is the idyllic resort surrounded by a unique mountain landscape at the foot of the Nordkette. Thaur is located only 10 km from Innsbruck. Still remaining from the trademark of the resort, the castle of Thaur, are only ruins. At the nearby Glugezer, you will find a beautiful ski area with mostly middle-difficult slopes.
