Location
The rustic 4-star Hotel Höhlenstein is located directly in the centre of Tux. Winter holidaymakers can reach the Eggalm cable car in Lanersbach after only about 1 km with the free ski bus, which stops directly in front of the hotel. The ski bus also goes to the Hintertux glacier and reaches it after about 5.1 km. Cross-country skiers and winter hikers can enter the corresponding cross-country trail or hiking path directly at the accommodation.Facilities
In addition to reception and Wi-Fi, the hotel's facilities include an inviting reception hall with seating area, lift, children's play corner, restaurant, hotel bar, conservatory and a ski room with ski boot dryer. Subject to availability, the hotel's free parking spaces can be used.In the spa area measuring approx. 70 m², a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and a relaxation room are available to guests free of charge daily from 15:00 - 22:00.
In resort, hotel guests receive the Tux-Finkenberg Ticket with various services and discounts, such as reduced admission to the Mayrhofen adventure pool or free travel on public transport (Tux-Finkenberg Shuttle, subject to changes and restrictions, as per info in resort).
Board
The half board comprising an extensive breakfast buffet with regional products and a 4-course menu of choice (two choices for the starter and three choices for the main course) including salad buffet, is already included in the holiday price.
