Location and facilities
The welcoming Hotel Pinzger Stubn (formerly known as the Active Hotel Wildkogel) lies about 2 km away from the resort centre of Wald im Pinzgau, around 5 km away from the Wildkogel-Arena ski area and approx. 10 km away from the Zillertal Arena. The accommodation is composed of a main building and side building ("Dependance"), of which is situated about 20 m away from the main building, just along the local train track. A ski bus stop can be found around 100 m away. Ideal attractions to check out in your free time include the popular Krimml waterfalls in Krimml (approx. 7 km) and the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world in Bramberg (approx. 14 km).The hotel was partially renovated in 2019 and is furnished with an entrance hall with seating area and reception, Wi-Fi, restaurant, heated ski room with boots dryers as well as free parking spaces (upon availability). The sauna, organic sauna and relaxation room can also be used for free (opening hours as per info in resort).
Guests can also enjoy free daily entry to the "Kristallbad" in Wald (as per info in resort). In addition, you will also receive the "Wald im Pinzgau/Königsleiten" guest card, which grants you access to several diverse services and reductions throughout the region (validity period and more information available in resort, subject to change).
Rooms
The traditionally and cosily furnished rooms are comprised of a bath or shower/WC, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and some come with a balcony. The lovingly furnished rooms in the Dependance, with their numerous wooden accents, are additionally furnished with a ventilation window facing the hallway.
