Location and facilities
The family-run, 4-star Hotel Lavendel is located at the edge of Windischgarsten, approx. 600 m from the centre of the resort. The ski bus stops approx. 500 from the building and takes you comfortably to the ski areas Wurzeralm (approx. 12 km) and Hintestoder (approx. 18 km). Access to a cross-country trail can be found approx. 100 m away. Free transfer between the 500 m distant train station and the hotel is also available. The cosy, country-style hotel offers a reception, Wi-Fi, restaurant, cosy parlour, hotel bar, ski cellar with heated boot dryer and parking spaces (upon availability).The spa area "Lavendels Jungbrunnen" invites you in to use the indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and relaxation room with tea bar and spring water (07:00 - 22:00). If paid for locally, you can enjoy the solarium and various massages (prior reservation required).
For guest entertainment, there is an activity programme on offer which includes snowshoe hiking, horse-drawn sleigh rides, guided ski and snowboard days, toboggan sessions and curling (possibly for a fee, details subject to change, as per info in resort).

The cosy rooms all have a bath or shower/wc, TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, radio, hair drier, safe and desk. The renovated junior suites also have a separate living sleeping area, and a south-facing balcony.Board
The holiday price already includes half board PLUS and comprises a rich and diverse, daily breakfast buffet, an afternoon buffet (15:00 - 17:00) with house-made pastries, as well as cold and warm specialities and a 4-course evening meal with salad buffet (soup, appetiser, choice of main dish, dessert). The menu includes soup, starter, main dish of choice and dessert. For the little ones, there are special children's menus available on request. Further, there are themed buffet evenings, with e.g. Austrian specialities or Italian evenings are organised.Pets
