Location
The comfortable 4-star Zapfenhof country house is located about 800 m from the centre of the village and about 2 km from the Kreuzjoch gondola lift. The ski bus stop and the cross-country ski trail are just a few metres away. There is also a free train station shuttle, which you can reach after about 800 m.Facilities
The facilities of this popular accommodation include a reception, lobby with seating, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, hotel bar, reading room, various cosy parlours, children's playroom and youth room, a ski and boot room as well as an inviting sun terrace with sun loungers (can be used weather permitting). Free parking spaces are available at the hotel.Furthermore, the hotel has a spacious wellness area (approx. 450 m²) with indoor pool, a heated outdoor pool with slide (can be used depending on the weather), Finnish sauna, pine sauna, outdoor sauna, whirlpool, aroma steam bath, brine steam bath, infrared cabin, relaxation room with heated benches and water beds as well as waterfall and Kneipp facility.
You may also use the fitness room with modern equipment free of charge. Solarium and massages are available for a fee.
Board
The half-board included in the price includes a rich breakfast buffet with organic corner, a 5-course menu in the evening (choice of 2 main courses), a salad buffet and cheese board served several times a week and a dessert buffet once a week.As theme evenings you are offered a weekly gala dinner, a Zillertaler Schmankerlbuffet or an Italian appetiser buffet. At Christmas (24/12) and New Year's Eve, 8-course menus are included.
Meat and natural products come from the hotel's own farm. A special children's menu is offered for children. Allergy cuisine, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes are available for an extra charge.
