In total, there are approx. 146 km of trails around Boží Dar, which extend right down to the German border. Thanks to the ideal location, the region can benefit from early snowfall, whereby pleasurable cross-country skiing can be enjoyed especially long. The trails extend from 1 km to approx. 20 km length, some are round courses or parts of the "Skimagistrale Erzgebirge", a very popular long distance ski hiking trail over the entire Ore Mountain massif.
The most popular trail is categorised as an easy run over approx. 10 km, running clockwise around the Spitzberg. It offers a connection to the Skimagistrale and is also suited for skating style skiing. For all those who require more excercise, there are more trails available at the Fichtelberg and Tellerhäuser, which offer access to the Oberwiesenthal network, which is not far away. Further 75 km of trails are only waiting to be explored.
