Ski area Ještěd
In the areas that can be reached with the gondola and the chair lifts, relatively demanding red pistes and one black piste can be found, and only red pistes run back down into the valley to the parking lots! When taking the Skalka chair lift, you can make your way to a somewhat flatter area with several wide, blue pistes. It's here where you can also find the snow park with its challenging set up.
The infrastructure of the ski area is modern and, with 11 runs, an almost perfect capacity for artificial snow, ski schools, equipment hire, diverse huts and snack shacks, a toboggan run, and an illuminated night skiing run, no wish goes unfulfilled.
Night skiing Liberec
The familiy-friendly area Ještěd is also a popular night skiing area. The manageable piste is accessible via the Pod lany F-10 drag lift and can be found on the outskirts of Liberec. The red piste No 1 "F-10" has a length of approx. 400 m, is prepared on a daily basis, and can be used by young and old, even in floodlight. The extended operation hours during night skiing are from 18:00 to 21:00, and extend the skiing day into the night. As the night skiing piste is right next to the lift offices nearby the valley station, a cosy stop is possible at any time during and after the night-time skiing pleasure.Après ski Liberec
Snowpark: Snowpark Ještěd Liberec
The ski area on Ještěd Mountain has a rather good snow park near the 2-person chair lift. Around a dozen obstacles, from easy boxes, to rails, to jibs, and kickers are waiting for winter sports fans. In order to make sure that every gets their money's worth, there is a beginner line, a medium line, and a pro line. Newcomers can take on easy obstacles like the "Rainbow Box" and flat boxes. Intermediates can test tehmselves on the Kink Box or smaller kickers. Larger jumps and a wall-ride await experts and pros. Furthermore, the park holds value with its special obstacles like tyres, tree stumps, and a small tank. In conclusion: freestylers of all kinds will be sure to enjoy themselves!
