Surrounding Alpe d'Huez you will find 50 kilometres of cross-country trails for varying abilities. Particularly beautiful is the panoramic trail over Poutran to l'Alpette at an altitude of 2,100 m. The track leads past several mountain lakes through beautiful winter scenery. Ambitious skiers will enjoy the "Boucle des Lacs" run: the longest trail in the area (20 km) goes up to an altitude of 2,100 m and is a real challenge!
