Ski vacations Risoul - winter paradise with historic charm!
Risoul
The cosy village of Risoul is located in Hautes-Alpes in the heart of the Southern Alps and is divided into two sites, "Risoul Village" and "Risoul 1850". While Risoul Village originated more than 3,000 years ago in the Gallo-Roman era and, at an altitude of 1,174 m, has the status of a popular tourist resort, especially due to its historical charm, the actual ski resort Risoul 1850 only came into being in the 1970s. As the name suggests, the primary ski resort is located at an altitude of 1,850 m and, despite the most modern lift facilities, is oriented towards the region's typical architectural style, which is characterised by the use of traditional materials such as wood and stone. The cosy ski resort has around 18,000 guest beds, distributed among numerous holiday apartments and chalets, making the winter sports stronghold a particularly suitable destination for families. In addition to an impressive skiing experience, winter sports enthusiasts also have the opportunity to explore the winter landscape on ski tours, take hiking routes or indulge in excellent culinary dishes. Risoul is a place full of charm and seduces mountain lovers with its historical origins and unique winter landscape.La Forêt Blanche
