Yes, the TV series "Der Bulle von Tölz" with Ottfried Fischer in the leading role has made Bad Tölz famous throughout Germany. However, the town has much more to offer than just the backdrop to a successful TV series. The Isar flows through the climatic health resort and offers impressive views of the Bavarian and North Tyrolean Limestone Alps. Bad Tölz offers a wide and varied range of leisure and cultural activities. You can easily reach 2 ski areas from here - as well as the metropolis of Munich, which is only 40 km away. Rustic inns and brewery taverns provide you with hearty Bavarian specialities in the evening - and a good Bavarian beer. After all, Bad Tölz was once famous for its art of brewing with 22 breweries.

Upper Bavaria
