Ski vacations Badenweiler – sunny spa resort in the souther Black Forest!

Badenweiler

On the outskirts of the southern Black Forest, approx. 30 km south of Freiburg, lies the spa resort Badenweiler. The small resort has approx. 4,000 inhabitants and is located in the three-country corner of Germany-Switzerland-France, and so provides for the perfect place to explore the surrounding area, and also offers magnificent views of the Rhine valley, right over into the Vosges. The popular spa resort offers double the pleasure in winter: situated at the foot of the Blaue (1,165 m), the resort enjoys perfect access to winter hiking trails and toboggan runs, and with the Feldberg and Belchen in the vicinity, there is also easy access to first-class ski areas. The thermal springs on the other hand, provide for relaxation and healing after an exciting day. Thanks to the thermal waters, Badenweiler has a row of baths, spa clinics and sanatoriums where you can improve on your health. Enjoy the uplifting feeling of relaxation in the Cassuipeia thermal baths. Holidays in Badenweiler are pure enjoyment!

Black Forest

Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (Black Forest cherry cake), Cuckoo clocks and the "Bollenhut" (traditional women's hat) - all this is typical for the Black Forest region and enjoys world-wide recognition. 160 km long and approx. 60 km wide is the expanse of this central German mountain range, covering 11,400 m² in close proximity to Switzerland and France. The Black Forest, with its more than 70 peaks over 1,000 m altitude, is the highest of the German central mountain ranges. Sporty Alpine skiers, expectant cross-country goers, loves of good wine and cuisine and all those looking for some relaxation and pampering, are welcome to experience the benefits of the Black Forest.
