Ski area Geißkopf
For snowboarders and freestylers, there is a fun park with various jumps, kickers and much more. A special highlight are the descents under floodlight, which make even the evening a pleasure on the slopes. 85 % of the slopes can be covered with snow by the snow cannons and ensure good slope conditions.
There are also other great ski areas available to you throughout the region, such as the "Großer Arber" ski area, which is about 30 km away. It offers about 10 km of downhill runs of all levels of difficulty and even a World Cup course! Due to large investments in the lift and snow-making facilities, the ski area has been extensively modernised in recent years and can boast a high degree of snow reliability, often until spring.

Furthermore you can let the day wind out by taking part in various outdoor activities, e.g. winter hiking at the Nordic Walking or tobogganing on the 2 km long toboggan run. Those who like to party can dance at the dico Papilio in the 10 km distant resort Regen until the early morning hours. More entertainment can be found in the larger cities of the region, such as Straubing or Passau. A good selection of dance clubs and bars awaits you, promising fun-filled hours with all genres of music.
Snowpark: Geisskopf, Snowpark Geissleinpark Bischofsmais
The Geißkopf ski area offers perfect conditions for every ambitious winter sports enthusiast and attracts both experienced and inexperienced skiers and snowboarders to the mountain. For precisely those who also love risk and enjoy marvelling at the snow from above, there are two different fun parks available. For the very young guests, a 2-hectare area in the "Geissleinpark" is waiting to turn the children into real pros, who are transported from point A to B via conveyor belts and children's chairlifts.
If you are already a bit more experienced or even a pro when it comes to freestyle, then you should not miss the "Geisskopf Snowpark". In cooperation with the two local ski schools "EPOXY" and "Snowbay", a wide variety of obstacles such as kickers, rails, boxes and wall rides have found their place here and guarantee every adrenaline junkie a special kick. Two park-owned shapers also ensure the best conditions and a special high-altitude adventure.
