Ski area Winter sports arena Tegelberg
A special feature at Tegelberg is the service for ski tourers. There are special ski touring evenings for them, on which the huts in the skiing area are open longer and the snowcats only come out later. This means that nothing stands in the way of an ascent at the edge of the piste, followed by a cosy stop for refreshments and a descent in the glow of the headlamp.
Those who want to explore even more slopes will find a large selection in the "Vitales Land" lift association, which includes several ski areas with a total of 159 kilometres of slopes.
Après ski Füssen
Füssen is considered the cradle of German ice hockey, so skating, figure skating, curling and of course playing ice hockey are among the obligatory leisure activities. Whether it's icy leisure fun on the frozen lakes in the area or concentrated curling at the German curling base - ice sports fans will love Füssen. On the nearby Tegelberg and around the lakes you will of course also find numerous opportunities for winter hiking and tobogganing. For example, take a hike to the Bleckenau Hut, formerly King Ludwig's hunting lodge, and sledge down a groomed track along the Bleckenau Road from there. Finally, the ultimate romantic experience is a horse-drawn sleigh ride with a view of the snow-covered Neuschwanstein Castle.
For the physical well-being, a wealth of restaurants offer the entire repertoire of regional and international cuisine, and in various bars and the "Big Apple" club, the evening can turn into a long party night as desired.
Snowpark: Snowboardpark Füssen
Snowboarders and freestylers are also well catered for in the winter sports arena on the Tegelberg. Directly at the Adler lift, beginners and advanced riders will find a new practice terrain with several elements in various degrees of difficulty. For beginners, the first step is a wave run and small rails, followed by tables, boxes, rainbow jibs and kickers. For the size of the ski area, the Tegelberg Snowboard Park is very impressive!
