Ski area St. Englmar
Freestylers, on the other hand, tend to opt for the Predigtstuhl area. In addition to 4 kilometres of pistes and 5 ski lifts, they will find a fun park here, or to be more precise, one of the largest in the Bavarian Forest.
Two other small areas can be found at the Grün-Maibrunn ski lift and on the Kapellenberg, where families and beginners in particular can be found.
Night skiing Neukirchen-Pürgl
For skiers who couldn't get enough during the day in the St. Englmar ski area, the area is a true Eldorado, because it offers night skiing in all of the above-mentioned resorts. The Pröller Skidreieck is open to night skiers from Monday to Saturday, always from 19:00 to 22:00. A whole 2.7 kilometres of illuminated pistes await skiers of all ages. On the Kapellenberg there are 0.3 kilometres of floodlit slopes, which are open daily until 8 pm. The floodlit area at Predigtstuhl offers two runs that are open to night skiers from 19:00 to 22:00. Tuesdays to Saturdays. And in the Grün-Maibrunn area, 1.8 kilometres of piste are floodlit from Monday to Saturday, from 7pm to 10pm each day, provided there is enough snow.Après ski Neukirchen-Pürgl
If, on the other hand, you would like to make the après-ski programme a little more sporty, there are many possibilities in Neukirchen and the holiday region. For example, take a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride or a hike - there are more than 50 km of winter hiking trails available. The whole family can have fun in the spa park in St. Englmar: either on the toboggan slope with toboggan lift or on the ice rink, where you can not only skate, but also play ice hockey or curling.
If the weather doesn't play along, you can retreat to the indoor swimming pool. For families, a trip to Family World St. Englmar is also worthwhile. Here children will find a climbing tower, a giant trampoline, a wave slide and a bouncy castle on an area of around 1,300 m².
Snowpark: Predigtstuhl Snowpark Neukirchen-Pürgl
The fun park in the "Predigtstuhl" ski area is floodlit all week long. Freestylers can let off steam here on 8 rails and boxes, several small kickers and various jib elements. In between, you can chill out at the small wooden hut with great sound. The park is one of the largest in the Bavarian Forest.
