The ski union Schneewinkel includes a total of 110 km of piste and 47 lifts in the three-state triangle Bavaria-Salzburg-Tyrol. Next to the Winkelmoosalm-Steinplatte, the local ski area from Reit am Winkel on the German side and Waidring on the Austrian side, you can also enjoy the Tyrolean ski areas Buchensteinwand - Pillersee Tal, St Johann in Tirol as well as Kirchdorf and Erpfendorf/Lärchenhof.

On the Steinplatte and the Winklmoosalm you will find 42 predominantly easy and easy to intermediate pistes. Especially the slopes on the Bavarian side are ideal for beginners, while the Northern side at the Steinplatte with its diverse slopes and challenging pistes is rather recommended to pros. A snow park can be found here as well.

The ski area Buchensteinwand-Pillersee with its 22 piste kilometres and 8 lifts at an altitude of up to 1,456 m provides a manageable size and is perfect for families with children. The little ones can enjoy "Bobo's Kinderpark" here, too.

St. Johann in Tirol, which lies in between the famous Kitzbüheler Horn and the Wilde Kaiser, offers 43 km of piste. Next to families and beginners, more experienced ski fans will get their money's worth: the black 3.5 km long Sauregg-FIS run, the snow park "Woodside" and the freeride areas at the Stanlalm and Kröpflalm!
