Titisee-Neustadt
In the centre of the Hochschwarzwald lies the spa resort Titisee-Neustadt, known as one of the most popular excursion destinations within Europe, due to the Titisee lake. The area is a great holiday destination and also the perfect place to start exploring the surrounding landscape. The resort itself is located at approx. 850 m altitude and offer a diverse selection of leisure time opportunities. Relaxation and fun under palm trees can be found in the "Badeparadies Schwarzwald" pool complex. Besides a wave-pool and a number of slides, there are also steam baths and themed saunas, as well as a range of spa treatments available. The surrounding hills around Titisee-Neustadt offer ideal conditions for great winter sports fun. From the viewpoint tower at the Hochfirst, Neustadt's local mountain, you can enjoy an impressive view of the Feldberg massif, the Titisee lake and even right into the Alps. The Hochfirstschanze is Germany's largest natural ski jump. From 7th – 9th December 2018, the world's best ski jumpers will meet to compete on the Hochfirstschanze. The famous Feldberg, with its diverse winter sports centre, is only approx. 20 km away from Titisee-Neustadt.Black Forest
Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (Black Forest cherry cake), Cuckoo clocks and the "Bollenhut" (traditional women's hat) - all this is typical for the Black Forest region and enjoys world-wide recognition. 160 km long and approx. 60 km wide is the expanse of this central German mountain range, covering 11,400 m² in close proximity to Switzerland and France. The Black Forest, with its more than 70 peaks over 1,000 m altitude, is the highest of the German central mountain ranges.
