Location and facilities
The family-run 3-star Gasthof Braun is located quietly and idyllically approx. 8 km from the centre of Winterberg and approx. 3.5 km from the cross-country centre Westfeld. The Winterberg ski area can be accessed within around 5 km and the nearest cross-country trail is directly at the house. The cosy inn offers a breakfast room, restaurant, bar and ski room with boot drier. The spa area, equipped with a Finnish steam sauna, infrared cabin, solarium and massage bed can be used for a fee, whereby the fitness equipment can be used for free. Further there are free parking spaces available.The guest programme, such as e.g. hiking, is included in the holiday price (once per week). Should skiing not be possible, due to bad weather conditions, the lift pass grants you free access to the sauna, infrared warmth cabin and hydro-jet massage bed, as well as 1x 2 hours free entry to the "Saunerland Bad" pool complex in Bad Fredeburg (approx. 15 km).

The included half-board is comprised of a hearty breakfast buffet, a three-course evening meal. Vegetarian meals, dietary cuisine and other wishes can be organised upon prior reservation in resort.Pets

- Smoking is only allowed in individual rooms
- For children up to the age of 5 use of the lifts is free when accompanied by an adult, given that they have bought a lift pass. Should the children be using the lifts alone (e.g. during a ski course), it is necessary to purchase an appropriate lift pass at the resort. Further information is available at the lift office.
- If skiing is not possible due to poor snow conditions, instead of a lift pass, you will receive free entry to the sauna, infrared cabin and hydrojet massage chair, as well as 1x two hour free entry to the Sauerland Bad swimming pool in Bad Fredeburg (approx. 15 km)
