The area is also known as host to various sports events, e.g. Snowboard World Cup, Biathalon World Championship or the international Valle di Casies run, the largest sporting event in South Tyrol.
In order to guarantee the perfect skiing experience, the ski area is regularly upgraded: The ever-popular sun lift has been replaced, completely modernised and equipped with many new features such as heated seats and protective bonnets. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Miara cabins and the snowmaking systems have been improved. In the 19/20 season, the non-detachable Rara chairlift was replaced by the modern ‘Skitrans Bronta’. Since its construction, it has held the title of the shortest 12-seater gondola lift in the world and connects the valley stations of the ‘Miara’ and ‘Pedagá’ gondolas.
For an even larger selection, you can upgrade to the lift pass "Dolomiti Superski" and choose from 1,200 kilometres of piste and 450 lifts.
