Ski area Val di Fassa-Carezza
The local ski area of Campitello is located at Col Rodella (2,485 m): mainly intermediate descents await you here. The sunny, wide slopes are suitable for leisure skiers but the area also offers something for snowboarders. From Campitello you have direct access to the famous Sella Ronda: The 40 km long day trip with skis around the Sella Massif is an absolute must for all ski fans! Numerous huts, the so-called "Rifugi", are situated along the pistes and invite you to relax and sunbathe.
With the Dolomiti Superski lift pass (upgrade available for a fee), you can access not only the Sella Ronda, but also a total of 1,200 kilometres of piste and 450 lifts in 12 ski areas!
Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.Night skiing Campitello
In Italy there is one or another night ski area in which you can find pistes for night skiing after the regular opening hours. A few kilometres from Campitello di Fassa, the Aloch piste in the Pozza de Fassa Ski Stadium is illuminated every Wednesday and Friday from 19:30 - 22:00 for night skiing. Experienced skiers can look forward to approx. 1.6 km on a red and black piste. The piste is also a popular location for various competitions in slalom, snowboard and carving, and as a training location for professional ski teams. The valid several-day lift pass (Val die Fassa-Carezza, Dolomiti Super Ski or Silver) gives you free access to night skiing. If you do not have a valid lift pass, you can still acquire the night ski pass in resort.Après ski Campitello
There are also lots of leisure activities for you to do: sports fans can make use of the sports centre with climbing wall, curling lanes and natural ice rink. Toboggan fans will find many nice runs to try out - in Canazei you can even enjoy tobogganing until late into the night. Nobody however should miss out on the masked parade that takes place on Fasching Sunday. Let yourself get carried away!
