Ski vacations Riva di Tures - holiday in one of South Tyrol's highest resorts!

Riva di Tures

Riva di Tures (German: "Rein in Taufers") is situated 1,600 m altitude in a tributary valley off the Taufer Ahrntal, and is one of the highest resorts in South Tyrol. The resort's quiet location offers excellent conditions for a relaxing and refreshing holiday. The lovely little town of Rein is situated in particularly charming scenery at the foot of the 3,436 m high Hochgall, surrounded by the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park. Here you will find the largest number of glaciers exhibited in all nature parks in South Tyrol.

Riva di Tures is known for the three spectacular natural Riva Waterfalls, which plunge down up to 40 m over rock walls in a gorgeous natural backdrop. Numerous sights in the area await your discovery, e.g. the 13th century castle, Taufers Castle. About a third of the imposing complex is open to the public and attracts numerous visitors with its splendid chambers, library, court room and torture chamber.

Valli di Tures e Aurina

Valli di Tures e Aurina (German: Tauferer Ahrntal) forms a tributary valley in South Tyrol and attracts visitors particularly with its large variety. The three ski areas Klausberg, Rein and Speikboden invite guests to enjoy diverse fun on the piste. If you seek even more fun in addition to the runs, you're at the right address in the Ahrntal: snowshoe hiking, ice climbing, ice skating or tobogganing are just some of the possibilities. The valley is also a paradise for cross-country skiers, with approx. 50 km of prepared track and 1,300 km of tracks in the connected area "Dolomiti Nordic Ski". The good value-for-money ratio and the diverse options for children makes the Ahrntal a very attractive holiday destination for families.
