Ski area Skiworld Ahrntal
You can start skiing directly from Cadipietra into the ski area of Klausberg with its 30 km of piste and 11 lifts. The ski area has also been named the best well-kept secret ski area of the year and is quite family-friendly. The little ones will be well tended to in the children's area at the Klausberg valley station. "Klausiland" offers children many attractions such as a magic carpet, a "Klausi-Express," a snow igloo, the "Klausi castle," toboggan runs and a slalom obstacle course. That's not all, though: kids will love the Dino Fun-Line, a unique obstacle course with whoops, steep curves and small boxes that is surrounded by 10 life-size dinosaurs like the Tyrannosaurus Rex. A ski school with ski- and snowboard courses as well as a Junior- and Teens Club are also available.
The snow park at the K2 valley station invites snowboards to come let off steam, and the "Hühnerspiel" and "Hexenschuss" pistes provide a challenging adrenaline rush. At the Klausberg K2 you'll ride along approx. 8 km and experience a 1,458 m difference in altitude, making it the longest run in the entire Ahrntal. The best carving slope can be found at the "Sonnenlift."
With the "Combination Ticket Plan de Corones," you can enjoy five days of skiing in the Tauferer Ahrntal and one day of skiing at the Plan de Corones. The ticket is valid from 5-days lift passes. The day at the Plan de Corones is available to choose as you like providing it is within the valid time-frame of your lift pass. However, you cannot use the "Combination Ticket" for both the Plan de Corones and the Tauferer Ahrntal on the same day.
In many areas of the Speikboden ski area, you have access to free Wi-Fi hotspots.
Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.Night skiing Cadipietra

Whoever prefers a more sporting afternoon can take on a hike in the gorgeous surroundings of the resort or even a romantic ride in a horse-drawn carriage. A perfect destination could be Klaus Lake, for example. For families, a ride to the "Klausberg Flitzer," the longest Alpine coaster in Italy (1.8 km), is quite the adventure. The toboggan run offers fun for all ages. Speeds can reach up to 40 km/h at the rider's own free will. One free ride is included in every lift pass! On the Klausberg, you'll also find an additional 5 km long illuminated toboggan run.
For history buffs, a visit to the mountain museum in Kornhaus will be well worth it, of which is to be found in the previously occupied grain store in the Prettau mine.
Snowpark: Snow Park "Funtaklaus" Cadipietra
With the "Skiworld Ahrntal," you gain access to both snow parks and a fun-line. The Dino Fun-Line in the Klausberg ski area is especially designed for both children and freestyler beginners. It offers you a prehistoric obstacle course with whoops, steep curves and small boxes - and is encircled by 10 life-size dinosaurs. At the K2 gondola in Klausberg, you will find the "Funtaklaus" snow park. In both sections, the "Upper Park" and "Lower Park," beginners and experts alike will feel right at home. In the Upper Park, you can expect to find diverse kickers, boxes a whoops line and a "multi obstacle." In the Lower Park, diverse kickers, rails, boxes and steep curves can be tested out. The snow park has also just recently been redesigned, and is even hailed by the current Olympic champion Joss Christensen.
The freestyle fun doesn't end here, though! At the Seenock chair lift, another snow park is waiting to be discovered. With a 700 m length, the park offers an easy and medium line with kickers, boxes, rails and tubes of various levels of difficulty. The Chill Area provides room for a little (or big) breather between all the action. Furthermore, an additional Speikline has been integrated just for families, providing all sorts of extra fun!
