Cross-country Norway
A very popular winter sports area is Geilo, located close to the national park Hardangervidda. The resort, located at 800 m altitude, also is an attractive destination for those who prefer the skinny skis. On a total of 220 km of tracks the skiers will find routes for every level of expertise. Also skating fans will find a large offer of trails, covering a distance of 26 km: Go skate!

The resort Hemsedal, the largest winter sports resort in Norway, also offers tracks which will satisfy even the most ambitious sports fans. The skiers can enjoy themselves on a total of 210 km of trails, on some of these even after the sun has set: every evening 10 km of tracks are lit with flood-lights.

A further great cross-country area is Lillehammer, the scene of the Winter Olympics in 1994. The largest network of tracks in Norway can be found here. In total 350 km of routes are available.
