Ski area Hemsedal

The "Hemsedal" lift pass offers the chance to ski on 37 kilometres of piste at altitudes between 643 m - 1,457 m, offering Northern Europe's highest slopes. Here you can cover over 800 m in altitude, giving the region the nickname the Scandinavian Alps. Norway's stable inland climate ensure excellent snow security, allowing skiers to enjoy an extra long ski season from mid-November to the beginning of May. All winter sports fans' dreams come true in Hemsedal, as the 37 kilometres of piste offer suitable terrain for both beginners and experts, as well as snowboarders and families with children. While free stylers can take advantage of two well-equipped snow parks, families can take advantage of an extensive selection in Norway's largest children's park! A ski area with entertainment options and professional child supervision has been established on 70,000 m². If the length of the ski day isn't enough, enjoy night skiing on floodlit slopes from 18:00 - 21:00.

Après ski Hemsedal

Fitting for a great ski area, the apres ski in Hemsedal offers enough opportunities to end the ski day with a hot Glögg (mulled wine). Turn night into day in a variety of discos and bars, e.g. in Hemsen, Norway's largest night club. Furthermore, there are numerous leisure time opportunities away from the piste, including many trend sports e.g. paragliding, snow-kiting and ice climbing. More low-key options include romantic dogsled rides, snow shoe hikes or ski tours.
