Anzère

A plateau over the Rhone Valley: The view opens up over the Valais Alps with its 4,000 m high peaks. The ski village of Anzère lies perfectly in the picturesque landscape at an altitude of 1,500 m - an ideal destination for nature-lovers and outdoor sports fans. Anzère is a younger area: In 1960, only 5 chalets stood here. Today, Anzère has become a modern yet navigable village, a real popular winter sports destination. Those seeking quiet and relaxation will specifically be getting their money's worth here. You can appreciate the traffic-free pedestrian area in the heart of the village, of which is surrounded by gorgeous wooden chalets, numerous restaurants and cafes, and the newly constructed spa and wellness centre. The southern-facing orientation provides the village with many long hours of sunshine.

Rhône Valley

The lovely Rhone Valley is located in Switzerland, stretching from the Rhône glacier right down to Lake Geneva. It's landscape is especially beautiful, and it offers an amazing variety of flora and fauna. Within the mild climate of the lower regions wine, fruit and vegetables are perfectly suited to grow here, whilst the surrounding 4,000-metres peaks have been turned into fantastic ski areas, attracting tourist from all over. The river Rhône is the heart of the valley, giving it it's very own flair - no matter at which time of the year. Deeply crevassed side valleys have created a fascinating landscape over a course of millions of years.
