Location and facilities
The cosy 3-star Hotel Alpenruh is situated in a gorgeous location in the car-free mountain village of Mürren, right next to the Schilthorn mountain lift station. When snow conditions allow it, ski-in to the accommodation is possible. Arrival at the hotel is only possible via the lift from Stechelberg (for a fee).The chalet-style accommodation has a lounge with reception, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, and ski cellar. For a fee, parking spaces can be used at the valley station of the Schilthornbahn lift in Stechelberg.
The hotel's own sauna can be used for free.

The total holiday price includes a daily breakfast buffet as well as a 3-course evening meal. On New Year's Eve, you also have the option to upgrade to a gala menu in resort.Once per stay, in place of the hotel breakfast, you can participate in a James Bond 007 themed brunch on the Schilthorn in the Piz Gloria 360° restaurant for free (for stays of 3 nights or more, ride with the cable car only possible with a valid lift pass, arrivals from 08:00 - 10:30). This provides you with a large breakfast buffet as well as a diverse selection of beverages and a large assortment of various breads.

Important notes
- The arrival/departure from Stechelberg to Mürren and back is only possible with the aerial lift (for a fee). Depending on the duration of the lift pass booked, the descent from Mürren to Stechelberg may already be included in the ski pass. Please check this at the Stechelberg valley station on the day of arrival.
- Lift pass vouchers are not provided to children aged 5 and under as the use of the lifts is free to children in this age range when accompanied by a parent. Should your child use the lifts alone within the permitted areas covered by the Jungfrau lift pass (because they are participating in ski lessons, for example), a "Piccolo" card must be purchased in resort. Further information can be found at the lift office.
