Les Quatre Vallées ("The Four Valleys") is the massive ski area, which is made up of several connected winter sport resorts, with a total of 412 kilometres of piste and ski routes. It is located between the French-Swiss border and the Valaisean capital city Sion. With 81 lifts and gondolas, four valleys and eight famous resorts, such as Verbier, Veysonnaz and Nendaz, are connected with each other. The diversity of this grandiose ski region with its endless mogul slopes, steep runs, wide deep snow runs and first class snow parks, will make skiers' and boarders' hearts skip a beat! From the highest point, Mont Fort (3,300 m) ski pros can swoop down one of the steepest mogul slopes, which due to its high position has almost always powdery snow and of course lots of sun. From up there, you have a magnificent view of the four valleys, in the west out to Mont Blanc and in the south-east out to Matterhorn.
