Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Hotel Bernina "1865" is one of the oldest hotels in Engadin. The hotel was originally constructed in 1865 during the time when winter tourism was just getting started. In 2010, the hotel was was completely renovated and reopened. This traditional hotel lies in the immediate vicinity of the Samedan centre (approx. 50 m). The "Samedan" chair lift can be reached in about 1 km, the "Gletscherbahn" lift after about 7 km. The ski bus stops just 20 m from the hotel and the public mineral baths & spa can be reached after about 300 m.The elegant hotel provides you with a reception, lift, lobby, Wi-Fi, luggage storage, reading room, restaurant, bar, a disco as well as a ski- and ski boot room. Free parking spaces and a parking space in the garage (for a fee) can be used upon availability. The approx. 350 m² "Natural Spa" (15:00 - 20:00) with steam bath, Finnish sauna, relaxation room and activity shower can be used for free. Numerous treatments and massages can be enjoyed for a fee in the beauty centre.
On request in resort, childcare service is available (for a fee). Furthermore, the hotel offers an outdoor activity programme (see information in resort), in which you can participate for a fee.
Rooms
The spacious rooms comprise of a bath or shower/wc, satellite TV, telephone, radio, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, safe, mini bar (for a fee) and some come with a balcony or terrace.Board
The already included half board consists of a breakfast buffet as well as a 3-course evening meal of your choice. Moreover, you'll receive free water in your room each day.Pets

Important notes
- Access to the spa area is only allowed to children when accompanied by an adult.
- Children under the age of 6 can use the lifts in the ENGADIN St. Moritz Mountain Pool network for free except in the following areas: Aela, Cristins, Celerina Provulèr, San Spiert, Survih, Müsella and Bügls. For those areas, a lift pass may need to be purchased for children under the age of 6. Further information can be found at the lift office.
