Location and facilities
The cosy, 3-star Hotel Gornergrat-Dorf is located in the centre of Zermatt, right opposite the train station. The Gornergrat lift is only approx. 50 m away. The nearest cross-country track access point is located in the 8 km distant resort Täsch.The hotel's general facilities include a lobby with reception and free Wi-Fi, a lift, dining hall, bar and ski and boot room.
The hotel-own sauna and relaxation room can be used for free, the solarium has to be paid for locally when used (each between 16:00 - 20:00, open hours may be subject to change, as per info in resort). A free-of-charge park house is located in Täsch, from where you can take the shuttle train to car-free Zermatt (payable locally, schedule as per notice in resort).

- Zermatt is car-free. The resort can be reached from Täsch via shuttle train (payable locally).
