PowderWeek: Opening of the ski season in Les 2 Alpes

Travel to one of the best glacier ski areas worldwide when the season starts, enjoy wonderfully empty pistes at the beginning of December and benefit from first-class après ski. Does that sound like a perfect ski holiday? Then get ready for PowderWeek in Les 2 Alpes now! From 30 November until 7 December 2024 we will be celebrating the start of the winter season in the French Alps.

In addition to pure winter sports fun at an altitude of up to 3,560 m, this week also offers an extensive off-piste programme. This includes, among other things:

  • Opening & Bad-Taste Party
  • Snow volleyball & Ultimate Frisbee tournament
  • Après ski parties
  • Closing evening with traditional raclette


    • Our open-air après ski area includes events with music, grilled sausages, mulled wine and hot chocolate to cool down and relax after a long day on the pistes. Participants and visitors can look forward to exciting competitions, great prizes and lots of fun.

    The après ski parties are also very lively! With hot or cold drinks, you can dance and party to the sound of the DJ's hits and enjoy the atmosphere of the Smithy's nightclub. At the opening party you can celebrate the start of the new ski season with us, take part in the Beer Pong Challenge and thoroughly inspect your entire wardrobe before the Bad-Taste Party. Because on this evening, everything bad and garish is explicitly welcome!

    During the day, the ski area of Les 2 Alpes offers 227 km of piste, accessible via 52 lifts. Beginners and pros will all find what they are looking for in this glacier ski area. For example, the 240,000 m² fun park which belongs to the top 10 in Europe. At the beginning of the season the park is still located at 3,200 m altitude and offers a beginner zone with tables and two rail lines, as well as an expert zone with Big Air (20 m) and SuperPipe - everything a freestyler might dream of!
