Cross-country Heavenly (Lake Tahoe)

In the region around Lake Tahoe you will find one of the best cross-country systems in America: there is an enormous offering for cross-country skiers. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you'll find trails that are just right! The northern area in Northstar at Tahoe is the best spot, with about 40 km of trails. However, the south around Heavenly is also worth a trip: in Heavenly's Adventure Park there is a 5 km long cross-country trail by the gondola's mountain station, which has a fabulous view of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding area. Alongside illuminated trails, America’s largest cross-country region has cosy refuges, extra lift systems as well as centres for hire & lessons.
